Learn more about my purpose
My drive and willingness to do anything for this to succeed is huge.. If something is personal to me, it would be much easier to convey that concept to the public because people tend to listen more when something is a work of passion and not just another store front. More or less if there is a story/ history behind something.. it brings personality to the entire concept.
Locally, I can bring something new to the area that we don’t typically have. Ironically enough, there aren’t many bakeries in my town let alone LOCALLY OWNED bakeries. Globally, I want the magic to spread. I want this place to be known as the place where not only your imagination can come TRUE but it is also a family environment.
I plan on having a loyalty program for my customers. I’d like to have a point system where for every dollar you spend, you get a point. And you are able to use your points towards purchases and get discounts. There will be a “flavor of the week” chalk wall where customers can write what flavors they want to see next. This to me is such a super personal and cool way to listen to your peers and keep then not only satisfied, but COMING BACK! One last thing, but my favorite for sure, I want to try and incorporate baking 101 classes. It will be advertised at the store and on my website, but per customers requests, we can hold a baking 101 class up to 10 guests per class costing $15 per person.
Rewards are definitely attraction and creating a family fun environment. I’d say some risks can come from the loyalty program and making sure however I decide to go about that, that it matches my system I have in place and budget.
